I Challenge You

I challenge you to sit.

That’s all.

Just sit.

Eyes open. Or closed.

No TV. No radio. No music. No podcasts. No book. No stimuli. No distractions.

So you can listen to yourself breathe. So you can feel your heart beat. So you can hear yourself think.

Notice.

The patterns, the sensations, the niggles. the urges.

Acknowledge.

The joys, the fears, the frustrations, the memories, the projections.

Hold space.

For the love, the hurt, the trauma, the lessons.

Silence.

Get comfortable with it. Get comfortable with you.

That is what it means to truly be alone with yourself.

To start with it may be terrifying.

But it will be the most transformational thing you ever do.
